About Me

Background
I was born and raised in Easton, Pennsylvania, a small town in eastern PA, about two hours from both New York City and Philadelphia. I believe growing up in this area was great for me because there was always so much to do and experience, which allowed me to broaden my horizons and think about the world in ways some others may not have been able to. I always imagined I would go into the medical field and believed this throughout much of highschool. As I progressed through some of my courses, I was not enjoying them as much as I believed I should so I started to branch out and look at other potential careers that I thought may fit my interests better. This is when I stumbled upon Codecademy and discovered my passion for technology and coding. I decided to attend Northampton Community College so I would be able to get an education and ensure that programming was the direction I wanted to go in for my career. At NCC I took many different classes in computing and learned a lot, but it also helped to mold who I was as a person. Knowing I wanted to continue my academic career and earn my bachelors degree, I decided to attend Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania due to the school being in a large city, and the great reputation that the school has attained.

I think it has been important to my personal, and academic development to attend this school with some of the most experianced and smartest professors in the country, and I have gained a lot from the last several years. I have worked several jobs in my lifetime so far, from selling candy and cheese at wine and holiday festivals, to working with the youth at my local library, to working in IT in a large company. I belive that all of these experiences have taught me many valuable lessions and I would cherish the experience.

Hobbies
I have always been someone who enjoys spending time outside in nature so many of my favorite things involve being outdoors. I love hiking and exploring all the parks around the area such as Jakobsberg State Park, and Mauchunk Lake. Other activities that I enjoy are bike rides, and going mountain bike riding on some of the local trails. I love riding my dirt bike and working on my car in the free time that I have. I also have a passion for music and have been playing the guitar for the past 10 years. Recently I have played more acoustic music and have enjoyed how relaxing it can be to sit back and play some simple songs. I have been an avid gamer for many years with my favorite game series being The Elder Scrolls, and Call of Duty. I love the story mode and the visuals that Skyrim presents, but the multiplayer in Call of Duty is unbeatable and I enjoy it a lot. Lastly, I consider myself a sports fanatic with my favorite sports being foodball and motorsports. I typically root for the Philadelphia teams like the Phillies and the Flyers, but as for football, I have been a life-long fan of the New York Giants.
